Église Ste-Marie was ingeniously converted by acclaimed architect Jean Nouvel, whose parents still live in Sarlat, into the town’s touristy Marché Couvert . Its panoramic elevator (buy tickets at tourist office) offers 360-degree views across Sarlat’s countryside.
